Emory & Henry VP for Athletics Anne Crutchfield will transition to a new role and “assume responsibilities for athletics strategic projects,” with Asst. AD for Student-Athlete Success/GEDI and Wasps Men's Basketball alum Kyle Sensabaugh to step into the chair, effective July 1. Sensabaugh will also take over as Interim Men's Basketball HC for the 2024-25 academic year, as HC Ben Thompson will move to the Advancement office as a Major Gift Officer working on the Collective Connection Campaign. President John Wells: “Anne is a tireless advocate for her alma mater. She has worked diligently for the past three years orchestrating and leading our Division II transition and building additional teams for wrestling, lacrosse, track & field and rugby. […] Kyle is an established campus leader and coach. He is a respected and engaged director who supports our students with great effectiveness. He has great results helping our student-athletes achieve academic success while maintaining their eligibility.”  Athletics will now report to VP for Student Experience Ryan Bowyer. (link)

West Florida has received a $9M+ gift from supporter/Gooden Homes Founder Darrell Gooden to help fund a stadium transformation of Pen Air Field, as part of the university’s $90M Here for Good campaign. Upgrades to the newly named Darrell Gooden Stadium will include 7,500 seats, a permanent press box on top of a dormitory building, premium seating areas and more. Football HC Kaleb Nobles: “Our game-day environment gives us a competitive edge and our student-athletes love playing on campus. Building a stadium will only enhance the atmosphere and strengthen our program for the future.” UWF plans to break ground in around a year and a half, with the project to be completed for the 2028 season. Ouachita Baptist hires former Western Carolina (DI) Women’s Basketball HC Kiley Hill to lead the Tigers. Seattle Pacific removes the interim tag in naming Keffrey Fazio as the Falcons’ full-time HC. AD Dan Lepse: "Keffrey served Seattle Pacific commendably for several years as an assistant coach and last year in the interim role, making his promotion to the head coaching position an easy decision.
