Director Athletic Compliance
Education & Experience:
- Masters degree required; Juris Doctorate preferred.
- Minimum two years full-time experience working in college athletic compliance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills required.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NCAA, including its processing infractions, NCAA governance, and legislative actions/issues.
- Proven ability to analyze and synthesize complex NCAA regulations and effectively communicate those concepts to a wide array of constituents.
- Experience in public presentations – both virtually and in person.
- Focus on serving constituents – particularly coaches and student-athletes seeking counsel.
- Established a growth mindset and willingness to continually learn.
- Skilled collaborator with a “team-first” approach.
- Solution oriented - Problem-solving mentality as opposed to merely problem spotting.
