LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball’s Bowlin Stadium got some upgrades this offseason.

The stadium, which opened in 2001, got new turf and fence, according to head coach Rhonda Revelle’s post on Twitter.

Revelle thanked Athletic Director Trev Alberts for the renovations.

Bowlin Stadium, which seats 2,500 fans, hosted NCAA Regionals in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2013.

The Huskers will open their season at the Houston Invitational against Lamar on Feb. 10.
