NBA attendance continues post-pandemic rebound, up 5%

NBA ticket sales continue to rebound post-Covid, as overall attendance has seen a 5% jump from last season through Dec. 20, according to an SBJ Atlas analysis. All 30 teams are hosting games for the entire regular season for the first time since before the pandemic. The 76ers and Mavericks lead all teams and are averaging more than 20,000 fans per game. They are two of the 11 teams that have sold out every game this season. Teams have seen a 65% increase in sellouts, led by the Cavaliers (+13), Suns (+12), Pelicans (+6) and Hawks (+6).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft
