Director of Development - Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences

The Director of Development for the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences reports to the Executive Director and will manage a portfolio of major gift donors ($25,000+) throughout the development cycle. This professional works closely with fellow OU Foundation colleagues as well as faculty, staff and administrative leadership on the OU Norman campus to develop and implement fundraising strategy to meet fundraising goals. Performance metrics will be determined annually by their supervisor in consultation with the Director pursuant to the OU Foundation’s annual fundraising goals and the University’s funding priorities.


Bachelor’s Degree and 4-8 years of experience in fundraising, sales and/or gift planning required. Proven direct solicitation experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively evaluate projects/programs and produce comprehensive reports required. This position requires 30% travel.

IT Specialist

Reporting to the IT Services Manager, the IT Specialist provides timely, responsive help desk support across the organization through technical assistance and responding to user questions. Using a customer-service mindset, this professional assists users by troubleshooting problems with computer hardware, software, printers and audio-visual equipment. Some college and 12-24 months of technical support experience required. Experience with or demonstrated working knowledge of ticketing systems preferred. Ability to set up PCs and peripherals, configure Windows 10/11 OS and assist with virtual meetings using Zoom and Microsoft Teams required.

Records Management Specialist

Reporting to the Executive Director of Data Management & Integrity, the Records Management Specialist investigates and maintains data integrity through thorough data entry into and management of the alumni database for the University of Oklahoma. The Specialist positively contributes to the overall fundraising operation by performing research on the University’s broad constituency and executing, as necessary, data integrity projects with the overall goal of improving data quality. Associate degree, two years post-graduation work experience, and the ability to work independently on routine tasks required. Must have knowledge of, or willingness to learn respective rights, federal and international regulatory laws pertaining to records management. Experience in database records maintenance, standard web browsers, and email preferred.

Data Analyst – Athletics Advancement Strategy & Growth

Reporting to the Director, Advancement Strategy & Growth of Athletics Advancement, this professional will be responsible for effective financial reporting, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) support, data analysis and other data projects. The Data Analyst will assist fundraising staff in leveraging data resources for the strategic fundraising priorities for the University of Oklahoma Athletics Department. Bachelor’s degree is a related discipline and 12 months experience working in collegiate athletics, a business office or fundraising work environment required. Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in data analytics, including strong foundational knowledge of SQL, Tableau and other prominent business intelligence tools preferred.
