USF is now one of 10 schools, and the first in the state of Florida, to have a direct partnership with Gait Lacrosse. They join Boston College, Northwestern, Maryland-College Park, Syracuse,  Loyola, Navy, Louisville, UAlbany, and Yale. The agreement provides a full suite of Gait Lacrosse hard goods to USF. Both brands will utilize the agreement to create content and share  growth opportunities together in the fastest growing sport in the United States.

"Gait lacrosse is the ascending brand in women's lacrosse," said McCord. "Their quality and performance is best in class, and as a brand they have disrupted the marketplace. Their research and development are strong. They care about being the best. When we spoke with every major lacrosse manufacturer about doing a direct agreement, Gait was the most responsive at meeting our needs as a program while sharing our fast-growth trajectory."0

"I've had a great relationship with Paul Gait over the years. I trust him and his team to help our USF program to compete for national championships by providing us access to the very best in lacrosse technology. They understand our goals as a program and more importantly, they know who Britt, Paul and I are as people. We look forward to continuing to attract top student-athletes to our university and providing them the very best equipment possible."

Gait Lacrosse, a collaboration between lacrosse legends and brothers, Gary and Paul Gait, launched in fall of 2020. The company has a full line of women's lacrosse gear, including heads, handles, gloves and eyewear, and men's lacrosse heads, handles and gloves.

"We are thrilled to be a partner of the University of South Florida women's lacrosse program in their inaugural year," said Paul Gait. "We are looking forward to great things to come from them next spring."
