BROOKLYN, N.Y. — LIU director of athletics William E. Martinov Jr. announced the addition of Craig Angelos, J.D. and Eric Lawhorn to the senior administrative staff.
 
Angelos will serve as senior deputy athletic director while Lawhorn will be the assistant athletic director for facilities and operations.
 
"Shark Nation is excited to welcome Craig Angelos to LIU," Martinov said. "Craig brings a wealth of FBS level, senior leadership experience that will help guide our programs to the next level. I look forward to working alongside Craig to raise the bar as we continue to grow into a top-tier program."
 
Angelos previously served as the deputy director of athletics at Temple for seven years. He has over 30 years of collegiate athletics experience, serving in senior administration at South Florida, FAU, FIU and Miami.
 
Lawhorn comes to LIU from Xavier as an operations specialist. He is a 2016 graduate of Ohio State.
