ST. LOUIS – Saint Louis Director of Athletics
Chris May announced today that
Kent Miller will not return as head coach of the Billikens' volleyball program. A search for a new head coach has begun.
Â
"We thank Kent for leading our volleyball program the last 12 years," May said. "He led our program with great passion and coached some of the top student-athletes in program history. However, at this time change is necessary in order for the program to elevate to regularly contend for Atlantic 10 Conference championships."
Â
"It has been an honor to be at Saint Louis University and coach our student-athletes for the past 12 years," Miller said. "I'm proud of our successes and wish the program well."
Â
From 2011-22, Miller posted a 181-166 record. He is the second-winningest coach in Billiken volleyball history.
Â
Saint Louis played in the 2006 and 2008 NCAA Volleyball Championship after winning A-10 Championship titles. The Billikens earned an NCAA at-large selection in 2009.
