SAINT LEO, Fla. – Christmas came early for Dawn Boltin, Assistant Athletic Director for Business Operations, as Saint Leo University Vice President and Director of Athletics Fran Reidy announced the elevation of Boltin, along with a modified title, from Assistant to Associate Athletic Director of Business and Finance, effective immediately.
 
"Dawn Boltin has expanded her role and responsibilities since joining Saint Leo 14 years ago and athletics eight years ago" said Reidy.  "The position has grown from a general account manager to a strategic planner and developer of our fiscal planning and resource allocation.  She has developed into a key member of our leadership staff.  At this fiscally challenging time, I am going to be relying heavily on her to continue her forward thinking, superior understanding of Saint Leo University business practices, as well as developing policies and procedures which best utilize our resources as we navigate into the future."

Boltin joined the Saint Leo University staff in 2008 as a Procurement Coordinator and was promoted to Senior Procurement Coordinator in 2009. In that role, she developed and maintained relationships with several of the University's large vendors, including Verizon, Bright House Networks, and Office Depot. Boltin was also responsible for providing assistance and training to staff and students with Datatel usage, managed University accounts ranging from cell phones to rental cars, and completed the annual 1099 process for Saint Leo contractors.

Prior to joining Saint Leo University, Boltin was office manager with Varnell Irrigation in San Antonio, Fla., maintaining payroll for a staff of 25 employees and managing all invoicing and accounts payable. She also created the company's customer service tracking system, and managed expenses through all large-scale projects.
A native of Dade City, Fla., Boltin is a 2007 graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in English, concentration in professional and technical writing. She earned a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Leo University in 2011.
