Rutgers Athletics Partners With RealResponse

12/20/22

Rutgers Athletics announced today its partnership with RealResponse, a web-based platform that provides safe and secure feedback, monitoring and anonymous reporting for athletic organizations.

The platform offers a safe and secure way for student-athletes to communicate on issues related to their experience directly with administration.

“The health, well-being and safety of our student-athletes is always the first priority of our department,” said Rutgers Athletic Director Pat Hobbs. “We are committed to providing them with all the resources necessary for a great experience during their time as a Scarlet Knight. The RealResponse platform is another tool that speaks to having a direct impact on our student-athletes.”

“We’re excited to partner with RealResponse and enable our student-athletes to anonymously share their thoughts, concerns, and other requests with our administration,” said Matt Pottorff, senior associate athletic director/chief compliance officer. “This platform will allow us to better serve the needs of our student-athletes, and fulfill our commitment to helping them reach their full potential.”

Currently used by over 50,000 NCAA Division I student-athletes across more than 100 institutions, RealResponse focuses on three solutions – survey tool for student-athletes to share feedback; a benchmark tool to compare metrics to peer and national averages; and the Anonymous Real-Time Reporting tool to empower student-athletes to report concerns.

About RealResponse
Originally founded in 2015 and then expanded in 2020, RealResponse is a partner with more than 100 colleges and universities as well as with the NFLPA, USADA, the NWSL, and USA Gymnastics, giving more than 100,000 athletes the ability to anonymously share feedback and concerns in a safe and secure manner. RealResponse is an online platform that allows for real-time reporting, surveys, and as a document repository. Organizations can also benchmark metrics to peer and national averages to identify areas of competitive advantage and vulnerability. Additional partnerships with international organizations, colleges and professional sports properties are expected in 2022. In 2021, RealResponse was recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as one of the “Fifty Most Innovative Companies in the Region.” For more in-formation about RealResponse, visit realresponse.com.
