UNI Athletics announces contract extension with NIKE

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI Athletics has announced it has renewed its contract with NIKE.
The new five-year deal extends an on-going partnership that will keep NIKE as the official apparel, footwear and accessory provider of Panther student-athletes that includes preferential pricing and complimentary product allotments. BSN Sports will serve as the service provider of Nike products through the end of the 2026-27 academic year.
"We are excited to continue our longstanding partnership with NIKE," said Athletic Director David Harris. "We are pleased to outfit our student-athletes through a company that has been involved in the sports world for decades. UNI Athletics is proud to partner with an organization dedicated to providing student-athletes with not only quality apparel but professional opportunities."
The Panthers will remain with ASICS as its apparel provider for UNI Volleyball. ASICS supplies volleyball with apparel, footwear, and accessories specifically designed for the sport. UNI's contract with ASICS for Panther Volleyball extends through April of 2027.
UNI Athletics has partnered with NIKE as their official apparel provider for over a decade. The Panthers signed their first departmental contract with the iconic brand in the summer of 2006. Since that first contract, UNI and NIKE have had a successful partnership outfitting student-athletes in the latest gear.
