Boise State Athletics Receives 10th $1 Million Commitment Since 2020

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics received a $1 million commitment, director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced Friday. The gift will be directed to future capital projects. The donor has requested to remain anonymous.

"On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches,and staff, thank you," said Dickey. "Thank you for demonstrating your commitment and leading by example. You are sending a message to current and future student-athletes that Boise State is the right choice. Everything counts. Everything matters."

The gift is the 10th $1 million commitment to the Lyle Smith Society since the philanthropic giving society started in December 2020. Nine different individuals or families have combined to make 10 seven-figure gifts.

The Lyle Smith Society is a leadership giving society to support Boise State Athletics with the purpose to increase philanthropic revenues, provide consistent funding for scholarships, operational needs and capital projects. There are now 214 members.

Members of the Lyle Smith Society enjoy unique stewardship opportunities and benefits based on giving level, while maintaining the flexibility to designate each gift to the fund of their choice.
