The hype around the undefeated showdown between No. 2 LSU women's basketball and No. 1 South Carolina has reached surreal heights.

More than two weeks ago, South Carolina announced that the matchup inside the 18,600-seat Colonial Life Arena was sold out. Potential spectators have had to rely on the secondary market for tickets if they want to be in the house to see Kim Mulkey lead LSU (23-0, 11-0) against Dawn Staley and the Gamecocks (24-0, 11-0) with the Southeastern Conference lead on the line.

Because of the sellout, South Carolina will open doors to CLA 90 minutes prior to tipoff.

With tipoff for the clash roughly 24 hours away, what sellers are asking for tickets has continued to rise. One seller on SeatGeek.com is asking for more than $4,200 for one front row seat in Section 113.

On Stubhub, the highest price for a ticket is $1,050 in the 13th row of Section 114.

The average going rate for a seat to see South Carolina take on LSU is around $300, which is about $250 more than what tickets for South Carolina's regular-season finale against Georgia are being sold for.
