Fry Named to NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Committee

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Nathan Fry, Harvard's Deputy Director of Athletics – Internal Operations, has been named to the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee.
 
One of five administrators on the 10-person committee, Fry is part of a group that is responsible for the organization and implementation of the national championship tournament, including the determination of the participants and creation of the bracket, as well as establishing playing rules and procedures for competition.
 
Fry has been at Harvard since 2003, when he joined the athletics department as its Director of Compliance. Through the years, he has risen through the department before being elevated to his current role during the summer of 2021.
 
A graduate of Southern Indiana, Fry provides strategic leadership and broad supervision of Harvard Athletics' internal units including compliance, recreation/club/intramurals, varsity schedules/travel, recruiting, game operations, diversity and inclusion, student development, varsity sport supervisors and student-athlete health and performance. In addition to his oversight of internal operations, he serves as the sport supervisor for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's tennis.
 
Fry's term on the NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Committee runs through Aug. 31, 2025.
