RENO, NV (March 3, 2023) – Nevada Athletics has joined forces with Reno-based Hub Coffee Roasters to launch Morning Howl, the university’s first branded coffee. The new coffee is officially licensed through Nevada Athletics’ licensing company, CLC, and will have special packaging bearing the school’s logos and branding.

Hub Coffee Roasters was started by Mark Trujillo, a former Nevada Track and Field student-athlete, and his two children, Joey Trujillo and Jessica Devine, who are both Nevada alumni.

“We founded our company to foster community through coffee, and there’s no better part of our community than the University of Nevada,” said Trujillo. “We are honored to bring this special blend of coffee to Wolf Pack fans near and far.”

Morning Howl is a blend of natural, honey, and washed process coffees from Brazil and Nicaragua. The university’s trademark licensing office engaged CLC to help develop the branding concepts and packaging.

“We are excited to launch our Morning Howl coffee in conjunction with Hub Coffee Roasters, a local favorite that has strong university ties,” said Stephanie Rempe, Nevada’s Director of Athletics. “This unique program is another step in our commitment to deliver unique products that engage our fans and connect them to the university.”

Morning Howl will be available for purchase starting Friday, March 3 at Hub Coffee Roasters retail stores, as well as the hubcoffeeroasters.com website.
