CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- UNI Athletics announced its partnership with Opendorse to provide a dedicated Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) marketplace for its student-athletes.

In collaboration with Opendorse, a nationwide NIL leader and marketplace technology company in the student-athlete endorsement industry, the Panthers have launched their brand-new, Official NIL Marketplace of the UNI Panthers, which is available today. UNI becomes one of several schools to provide a single marketplace platform to send supporters to access student-athletes and offer NIL opportunities. The marketplace gives Panther fans, brands, and sponsors the ability to browse, book, pitch, and pay any UNI student-athletes for NIL activities in one platform, built specifically for the athletes' needs.

"We're excited to begin our partnership with Opendorse and offer new NIL opportunities for our student-athletes," says Athletic Director David Harris. "The marketplace makes it much easier for UNI fans, businesses and organizations to support all Panther student-athletes. It's also another resource for us to provide to student-athletes to remain on the cutting edge of this new space as the landscape of college athletics continues to evolve."

Panther student-athletes from all 17 teams that are interested in being on the marketplace have created profiles, and will now be able to receive deals through this partnership. Interested third parties are able to contact, pitch, and pay student-athletes through the platform, who can then review opportunities, accept deals and receive compensation all in one place. UNI will continue to provide its student-athletes and staff with continual education regarding NIL.

The Opendorse marketplace is built on a decade of athlete marketing technology and experience. Opendorse finds ways to maximize NIL opportunities for student-athletes while delivering security and simplicity for all involved parties. They have facilitated hundreds of thousands of NIL deals and endorsements with athletes at all levels of sports. The Opendorse marketplace is used by over 75,000 athletes to manage deals from pitch to payment, and even tax preparation.
