ORLANDO, Fl. – UCF Athletics announced its partnership with Podium X, an online platform that translates the experiences and skills of student-athletes into a shareable profile and instant resume with a connection to a job board. Through the partnership, Knights student-athletes will have access to additional professional development to launch their careers after graduation.

Founded in December 2021, Podium X is the digitized process of identifying the soft skills of athletes and providing them with an online podium in which to tell their relevant story. It includes the tools to create a resume, match to the constantly growing number of open jobs within Podium X, and access to the expertise of XPG Recruit career specialists.
Podium X highlights the student-athletes’ special traits and accomplishments to seek NIL opportunities, apply for internships, search for jobs, and apply for graduate school. Functioning as a career development partner, it makes the student-athlete stand out and helps secure a desirable job.

The Podium X platform allows creation of an online profile specially designed for athletes to highlight their unique journey and valuable soft skills often developed through athletics. The profile serves as an enhanced resume listing business and athletic experience, leadership, and educational experience, even media clips about their sports careers. Student-athletes can create traditional resume PDFs with a touch of a button and be matched to hundreds of national job openings. Employers post job openings and can view student profiles that match the skills they need.
