Wright State Launches Official NIL Marketplace for Student-Athletes

DAYTON – In collaboration with Opendorse, Wright State Athletics has launched Raiders Marketplace, Wright State's official Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) marketplace for student-athletes.

Powered by Opendorse, Raiders Marketplace gives Wright State fans, supporters, and local organizations and businesses a platform to access hundreds of student-athlete profiles and pitch those they are interested in pursuing for NIL and future opportunities.

Current Raider student-athletes can be found and contacted using Raiders Marketplace among the over 100,000 athletes worldwide using the Opendorse platform.

"This is an exciting time for our Raider student-athletes and supporters," Wright State Director of Athletics Bob Grant said. "As we continue to educate and equip our student-athletes to navigate the world of NIL, it's equally important that the businesses and supporters who want to provide NIL opportunities have an efficient and centralized platform. We are excited to work with Opendorse, a platform that is easy to navigate and transparent for all parties involved in the world of Name, Image and Likeness."

Every Wright State student-athlete will receive an Opendorse profile, which they can customize and promote on their personal social media channels. In their Opendorse profiles, student-athletes are able to showcase their unique interests, talents and products, which provides an easy way for interested third parties to see who best fits their NIL needs. They can then review opportunities, receive deals, accept compensation, and disclose NIL actives to the University, all within the Opendorse app.

In addition to the new marketplace, Wright State student-athletes will benefit from this partnership with Opendorse and its best-in-class tool for content delivery, social media assessments and analytics, and access to hundreds of education tools.

The Horizon League
In July, the Horizon League became the first conference to have a conference-wide marketplace exclusively for league student-athletes through a partnership with Opendorse, allowing member institutions access to Opendorse's NIL products and educational content.
