DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – In July 2022, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University announced a fundraising campaign to honor the legacy of the late Jay and Leila Adams. Driven by gifts from community leaders Hyatt and Cici Brown, Mori and Forough Hosseini and Glenn and Connie Ritchey, as well as 100 percent of Embry-Riddle's Board of Trustees, the fundraising initiative has raised more than $1.2 million in support of facility upgrades and student-athlete scholarships.
 
On Friday, a dedication ceremony was held for the Jay and Leila Adams Basketball Locker Room. Members of the Adams family attended the private ceremony that included a tour of the state-of-the-art locker room. The family was also recognized by Embry-Riddle Head Men's Basketball Coach Steve Ridder on the court prior to the Eagles' Homecoming game against United International College.
