Boise State Athletics Receives First $1M Investment of Unbridled Campaign

Gift is the department's 12th seven-figure commitment in 36 months
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics received a $1 million commitment toward future capital projects, director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced Friday. The gift announcement follows the launch of Unbridled: The Campaign for Boise State University which aims to raise funds for scholarships, endowed faculty positions and the Athletics pillar of the campaign to enhance facilities and student-athlete programs. The donor has requested to remain anonymous.
"We are beyond grateful for the support of Bronco Nation," said Dickey. "The collective investments we make today will ensure every student-athlete who wears the Blue and Orange has the access and opportunity to be champions in sport and life."
The gift is the twelfth commitment of at least $1 million to the Lyle Smith Society since the philanthropic giving society started in December 2020. Nine different individuals or families have combined to make the 12 seven-figure gifts.
The Lyle Smith Society is a leadership-giving society founded to support Boise State Athletics with the purpose of increasing philanthropic revenues to provide consistent funding for scholarships, operational needs and capital projects.
