MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan University Director of Athletics Deane Webb has named Dr. Jeffrey Reyes as the Wildcats' new Associate Athletic Director for External Operations. Reyes will oversee the corporate relationships, sponsorships, and overall marketing of the IWU Athletic Department. He comes to Marion after serving the last two and half years as the School Administrator and Athletic Director of Altamonte Christian School in Altamonte, Fla. He worked on the administrative team that ensured proper management, operation, and functionality of the entire school. He also built partnerships with local and national businesses, surpassing their fundraising goals each year.

"After a comprehensive search for this vital position, we are thankful that God is bringing Jeff and his family to Marion to join the IWU athletic department," said Deane Webb. "Dr. Reyes has extensive experience in multiple external facing areas of athletic work that will directly benefit our department. I believe he will assist us in undertaking ongoing financial initiatives, and his creativity will spur new opportunities. Just as we pursue excellence within our sport teams, we also pursue excellence within all of our staff positions. We've found someone in Jeff that wants to honor God through his work, while also impacting the community around him."

Prior to his time at Altamonte Christian School, Reyes spent a year with Layton Christian Academy as their Assistant Athletic Director. He also has experience working with the equipment and apparel supplier, BSN Sports, as a field sales professional from 2019-2021.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to join such a prestigious university with amazing athletics," said Reyes. "The programs, the coaches and staff, and the student-athletes are a testament to that. God has given my family and I a great opportunity to help grow our department and show His love in all we do."

Reyes received his bachelor's degree, master's degree, and doctorate degree from Liberty University. He and his wife, Erica, have four children, Stella, Olive, Maverick, and Nash.
