NEWARK, Del.  – The University of Delaware Athletics department has partnered with Altius Sports Partners ("ASP") to receive Name, Image and Likeness ("NIL") advisory and educational services through the industry-leading firm's ASP Academy program.

This collaboration aligns with Delaware's dedication to supporting Blue Hen athletes, coaches, and staff with the best resources. ASP Academy provides direct access to NIL experts and valuable educational resources, benefiting the Division I institution. The program is customized to meet the specific NIL needs at Delaware, delivering ongoing education, advisory services, and dedicated workshops for our stakeholders.

"I am incredibly excited to work with Brittney and her team," Director of Athletics, Community, and Campus Recreation Chrissi Rawak said. "This type of program provides specialized education that invests in our student-athletes and enriches the experience for everyone involved. It truly reflects our commitment to doing the right thing for  our programs and ensuring long-term success for our student-athletes."

ASP's expert team will collaborate with Delaware Athletics to create a customized approach for NIL strategies and planning, sharing best practices and innovative ideas while ensuring compliance with the rules. The program will also provide training for coaches, staff, and student-athletes, covering a wide range of topics, including rules and compliance, branding, finances, and evaluating NIL options.

"ASP Academy is built on the belief that education is empowering," said ASP College Vice President Brittney Whiteside. "Our goal is to provide student-athletes and stakeholders at all levels of college sports with expert guidance on NIL matters and beyond. This partnership highlights Chrissi and her team's commitment to delivering high-quality NIL support and education, setting a strong example for others."

Established in 2022, ASP Academy ensures that athletes and stakeholders at all levels of collegiate athletics have access to expert NIL guidance. Initial program participants include the University of Nevada, the University of North Alabama, Oakland University, and Tulane University. As ASP expands this initiative, it will continue to provide advisory support, strategic guidance, and customized education.
