WASHINGTON – David Heller has resigned as the head coach of the Georgetown University volleyball team, Francis X. Rienzo Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Lee Reed announced today.
"I'd like to thank David for his leadership and dedication to the program over the past several years here at Georgetown," said Reed. "We wish him well in the next step of his professional endeavors."
A national search for the next head coach will begin immediately.
Heller came to the Hilltop during the 2019 season as an assistant and was elevated to head coach in 2020. He went 11-47 in his two full seasons at the helm of the program.
