Rosen Tabbed to Lead Women's Lacrosse Program

William Peace University Athletics is excited to announce Hannah Rosen as the program's new Head Coach. Rosen will begin her duties on 11/13/23.

Rosen stated, "I'd like to thank Claude Shields and Danielle O'Leary for the opportunity to be the next Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at William Peace. I'm excited to join Pacer Nation & look forward to molding the future success of the lacrosse program."

Rosen was most recently the Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Meredith College. While at Meredith, she assisted a team that won its 9th consecutive USA South Conference Championship in 2022. She assisted in all aspects of the program, which will certainly set her up to hit the ground running to build a contender at WPU. Rosen is no stranger to start up programs, prior to her stint at Meredith she founded a club girls lacrosse program, 252 Premier Lacrosse, in the summer of 2021. In addition, she was also an inaugural member of women's lacrosse program at Radford University.

Athletic Director Claude Shields stated, "We are thrilled to welcome Hannah to WPU. Hannah has experience in starting a program and has seen what it takes to win at the highest level in the USA South Athletic Conference. During the interview process, she clearly stood out as someone who is 100% ready to be a Head Coach. We can't wait to see what is in store for our Women's Lacrosse Program."
