BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) extended its contract with Hudl (formerly BlueFrame) through June of 2026. The NSIC worked with BlueFrame prior to the acquisition to create the NSIC Network back in 2020 and has seen tremendous growth in viewership since that time.

“Webcasting has been and will continue to be a strategic focus for the NSIC,” said NSIC Commissioner Erin Lind. “Hudl provides our institutions with cutting-edge software to produce top of the line productions, which in turn, provides the viewer the best experience while viewing a contest on the NSIC Network. We are excited to grow with Hudl and to strive for new and exciting possibilities for viewer’s experiences.”

The agreement has all NSIC regular season contests air on the NSIC Network, powered by Hudl for free, along with select NSIC Championships. The agreement also includes a pilot program for select 2023-24 championships. The pilot program will see the volleyball tournament semifinals and championship move behind a paywall (quarterfinals matches will still be available for free), along with the entire indoor men’s and women’s track & field championships. All games of the softball and baseball tournaments will move to pay-per-view as well. The NSIC Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournament rights were purchased by Midco Sports and will air exclusively on Midco Sports Plus. All other regular season and championships across the 18 NSIC sports will remain free-to-view.

"Hudl aims to empower our clients to reach and grow their fan base with high quality production tools and a state-of-the-art distribution platform, while providing flexible monetization solutions to generate new revenue streams." said Ben Kant, Head of Streaming. "We are thrilled with the success of the NSIC Network and look forward to partnering with them in the continued growth of their network."

The NSIC is the 16th Conference in NCAA Division II to use Hudl’s streaming solutions to provide their fans and communities live, on-demand access to the teams and student athletes they are passionate about.

Viewers can access broadcasts via NSICNetwork.com, the NSIC Network iOS or Android mobile app, as well as any of the OTT apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Android TV. For anyone needing technical assistance throughout the event, they can send an email to support@hudl.com.
