CU, Campus Ink To Provide NIL Merchandise Store
August 29, 2023 | General
BOULDER - The University of Colorado is set to launch a Name, Image and Likeness merchandise store powered by Campus Ink after the two entered a licensing agreement to provide opportunities in the NIL space for all CU student-athletes.
Colorado is the first school in the Pac-12 to create a Campus Ink NIL Store, which will design and sell officially licensed student-athlete apparel. Each CU student-athlete who chooses to participate will have a personalized 'digital locker room' that houses their merchandise on the e-commerce site.
"We're thrilled to expand our NIL store solution to the University of Colorado Boulder, and provide its athletes with a holistic NIL merchandising solution opportunity with industry-leading payouts," said Adam Cook, VP of Campus Ink Sports. "Colorado is one of the preeminent brands in the collegiate sports landscape and we look forward to engaging with their enthusiastic fans as we bring them high quality officially licensed NIL merchandise."
Campus Ink will be the driving force behind all the creative, product creation, design, marketing, fulfillment and customer service for the student-athletes. They will work closely with CU's student-athletes to educate them on merchandising, marketing and sales trends to develop strategies for optimal success.
