"We are pleased to give Coach Dorsey this opportunity and look forward to watching the progress of our baseball program under his leadership," said Parker. "We have shown progress in many areas since his arrival, and I expect that to continue as he begins his head coaching career."

While at CBU, Dorsey's responsibilities have included recruiting, hitting coordinator, third base coach, individual defensive coach, team defensive coach, weight room supervisor, conditioning supervisor and field maintenance. In 2023, Dorsey helped guide the Bucs to their most wins since 2007.
