Carroll University Announces Women’s Soccer Coaching Change

1/4/2023 11:45:00 AM

WAUKESHA, Wis. --  After eleven years at the helm, Susan Foster is no longer the Head Coach of the Carroll University Women's Soccer team. The university appreciates her many contributions and oversight of the team's transition to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.

The women's soccer team had a successful 2022 season, with an overall record of 11 wins, 4 losses and 5 ties, advancing to the semifinals of the 2022 CCIW Women's Soccer Tournament. Foster finishes second all-time in Carroll women's soccer history with 118 wins. Foster coached the Pioneers to nine winning seasons, including a Midwest Conference Championship, two Midwest Conference Tournament titles, nine post season appearances across the MWC and CCIW, and four NCAA Division III National Tournament bids. Foster led 33 All-Conference recipients, nine All-Region players, and the lone All-American in program history.

Carroll University wishes Foster well in her future endeavors as she leaves the university. Carroll Athletics will launch a national search for the next head coach to lead the team to success in the 2023 season.
