ASHLAND, Va. – Victoria Wilson has been named Assistant Director of Athletics at Randolph-Macon College.

"I am incredibly excited to begin serving in this role," said Wilson. "I have an immense appreciation for the DIII philosophy and have seen, in just my short time here, how intentional Randolph Macon and the Athletics Department has been in embodying it. The competitive expectations, both academically and athletically, rooted within the institution's culture fosters a legacy I look forward to being a part of. GO JACKETS!"

Wilson most recently served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities and Events at James Madison University. In that role, she oversaw planning logistics and site preparedness of home athletic events, serving as the primary contact for four different sports.

Prior to JMU, Wilson worked at the Conference Carolinas as a Conference Officer, overseeing SAAC initiatives, the conference awards program, and community engagement activities.

Wilson has spent time with the ODAC, working at the ODAC office as a Championships Intern in 2019 as well as an Athletic Administration Intern at her alma mater Bridgewater in 2019, 2020, and 2021.

"Randolph-Macon College has had tremendous success hiring young professionals and developing them to be leaders within their fields," said Jeff Burns, RMC Director of Athletics. "Victoria comes to RMC with excellent experience, understands and appreciates the College's mission, and wants to make an impact within Division III."

Wilson was a four-year starting setter at Bridgewater where she was a team captain and named a Honorable Mention All-American in 2018. She received her bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science from Bridgewater in May 2019 and then got her master's degree in Sport and Recreation Leadership from James Madison University in May 2021.
