Brian Dudiak Named CAA Associate Commissioner For Sports Administration

RICHMOND, Va. (August 22, 2023) – CAA Commissioner Joe D’Antonio has announced the hiring of Brian Dudiak as Associate Commissioner for Sports Administration at the CAA.
Dudiak brings more than a decade of experience in sports administration to the CAA, having worked in a variety of event management and facilities operations roles at Elon University. During his tenure, he helped execute numerous conference and NCAA championship events.
Dudiak will serve as the sport administrator for men’s soccer, volleyball, swimming and diving, tennis and softball. His responsibilities will include producing conference schedules, conducting annual coaches’ meetings, supervising the designated assignors of officials, as well as the administration, pre-event planning and game management for the CAA championships in those sports.

It is a pleasure to welcome Brian to the CAA.”
A 2012 graduate of Elon, Dudiak worked in the athletics department at his alma mater for 10 years. He served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Event Management & Facilities from 2019-22, where he had full oversight of the scheduling, maintenance, event management and general operation of 14 varsity athletic facilities and over 300 athletic competitions each year. His other responsibilities included coordinating the scheduling of game officials, serving as the facility manager for Schar Center and working with the University’s Campus Resource Providers to ensure the safe planning and hosting of events on campus.
Dudiak worked closely with the CAA while coordinating conference championships in women’s basketball, tennis, track and field and cross country. He also helped manage NCAA championships in football and men’s soccer.
In addition to his athletics department experience, Dudiak most recently worked as Assistant Director of Auxiliary Services at Elon University, where he oversaw contractual relationships with Coca-Cola, Barnes & Noble and the Collegiate Licensing Company. He managed maintenance of equipment and facilities for six dining locations across campus and served as the brand manager for all of the University’s trademarks.
