Hailey (Hartney) Swenson joined the George Fox Athletics staff as the new Associate Athletic Director of Operations in August of 2023. A 2020 alumna of George Fox, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and was a member of the Bruin women's basketball team for four seasons. In her senior season on the team, Hailey started all 29 games as the Bruins advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament before the season was ultimately canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She has worked the past two years as an Event Manager at the Clark County Fairgrounds and Event Center in Ridgefield, Wash. There, she organized, booked and oversaw several events, including weddings and meetings, trade shows and the Clark County Fair. Hailey lives in Vancouver, Wash. with her husband, Sam Swenson and enjoys going on sunset walks with her husband and dog, Bru, trying new restaurants, and shopping.
