Tucker Quinn - Job Announcement

Quinn named Assistant AD for Marketing, Promotions, Licensing

Northwest Missouri State University Director of Athletics Andy Peterson has announced the hiring of Tucker Quinn as Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing, Promotions and Licensing for the Bearcat department of athletics. He will begin his duties at Northwest Sept. 1.

Quinn, a native of Harrisonville, Mo., is a 2020 graduate of Northwest. He earned his bachelor of science degree in sports media. Quinn also gained his master's degree in professional communication from Youngstown State in 2022.

"Everyone is excited to bring Tucker back to his alma mater in a full-time capacity," Peterson said. "He was a fantastic student employee for us during his undergraduate career and has only improved in his time away as a professional. His intrinsic motivation and loyalty to make Bearcat Athletics the best it can be is what separated him from a fantastic pool of candidates and led us to ask him to come back. We are thrilled he has accepted our challenge and are looking forward to getting him in the office and continuing to propel us forward."

Prior to returning to Maryville, Quinn served as the Director of Digital Media at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Ill. Quinn developed policies and strategy for compelling social media content and account management for the Scots. He helped implement a campus-wide, multi-departmental graphic design software used for design and brand templating. He contributed with photography, videography and livestream efforts for on-campus happenings at Monmouth.

Quinn served a two-year graduate assistant job within the Youngstown State Penguin athletic communications office under the direction of veteran College Sports Communicators Trevor Parks and Jamie Hall.

As a student at Northwest, Quinn assumed a variety of roles inside Bearcat athletics along with work with campus admissions.

He and his wife, Carrie, were married Aug. 1 in Cancun, Mexico. The couple resides in Maryville with their 2-year old beagle, Murphy.
