NORTH CANTON, OH: On Wednesday, September 20th, Vice President for Athletics/Athletic Director, Dr. Nathan Cochran announced the hiring of Assistant Athletic Director - Operations, Donavon Martin Jr. Donavon joins the Walsh Athletic Administration with many years of experience in game day operations and sports information as he most recently served as the Sports Information Director at Malone University from 2020-2023.

Martin Jr. received his Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from Ohio Valley University in 2015 while being apart of their baseball program for four years. While serving as Sports Information Director at Ohio Valley, he received his Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017. From 2018-2020, he worked at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi as Director of Athletic Communications. 

Donavon resides in Uniontown, Ohio with his wife, Kelly and daughter, Peighton.
