Thomas More Names Sebastian Sims as Head Golf Coach

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY.) - Thomas More University President Dr. Joseph Chillo, LP.D., and Vice President and Director of Athletics Terry Connor announced Sebastian Sims as the University's new head men's and women's golf coach today (September, 19th).

Sims returns to Thomas More where he was a member of the men's golf team from 2018 to 2022. Earning Team Captain honors as a junior and senior. During his career as a Saint he played in over 35 rounds and earned Mid South Conference All-Academic honors. 

While at Thomas More, Sims maintained a 4.0 GPA as he earned his B.A. in Business Administration and his Masters in Business Administration, graduating in 2022.

"I would like to thank Terry Connor for giving me this opportunity. As an alumnus and former student-athlete I have a deep appreciation for this university. I am very excited to have the chance to build this program up and take it to new heights at the Division II level," said Sims.

"We are excited to have a quality student-athlete like Sebastian back to guide our golf programs," stated Connor. "We are looking forward to seeing him bring success to Thomas More and the golf programs."

Sims and the men's and women's golf teams have begun their 2023-24 season.
