Maryland Football Announces Future Schedule Updates

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland football program announced updates to its future non-conference schedule on Wednesday. The Terrapins will host Villanova in 2024 and Toledo in 2029.

The matchup with Toledo was previously announced to be played on Sept. 21, 2024, but that game will be played on Sept. 1, 2029. Maryland will now play Villanova on Sept. 21, 2024. Both contests will be played at SECU Stadium in College Park.

The Terps are 9-2 all-time against Villanova, winning each of the last nine meetings. Maryland and Villanova last met in 2007, while the Terps have never played Toledo in football.

Maryland's 2024 non-conference schedule also includes games against UConn (August 31) and at Virginia (September 14).

Maryland's 2023 season continues this Saturday as the Terps (3-0) travel to Michigan State (2-1). The game will be broadcast on NBC and the Maryland Sports Radio Network.

The Terps return home on Saturday, Sept. 30 to take on Indiana as part of University of Maryland's Family Weekend. To purchase tickets, click here.
