HONOLULU – The University of Hawai'i and University of Washington have announced a future game for the 2030 football season.
The teams will play Sept. 14, 2030 in Seattle, Wash.
The meeting will be the seventh all-time meeting between the programs. The teams last met during the 2019 season in Seattle, Wash., with the Huskies winning 52-20. UW has won two of the three all-time meetings in Seattle with UH's lone win occurring in 1973 (10-7), which is still considered one of the program's biggest upsets.
The teams also played a memorable game in 2007 as Hawai'i wrapped up an undefeated regular season with a come-from-behind 35-28 victory at Aloha Stadium. Since that meeting, the Huskies have won three straight in the series, winning one possession decisions in 2011 (40-32) and 2014 (17-16).
Four of the six games in the series have been decided by one possession.
UH's only other game scheduled for the 2030 season is at Stanford, Aug. 31.
