KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association has issued a public reprimand to Emporia State University for its failure to meet the MIAA's new challenge review requirements during its volleyball match with Fort Hays State University on September 15.
 
MIAA institutions agreed to require that a challenge review system be available for all MIAA volleyball matches beginning this fall. Emporia State failed to meet this MIAA requirement for its first home match. Emporia State has taken action to ensure that requirements will be met for all future MIAA matches.
