CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Mid-American Conference Commissioner Dr. Jon A. Steinbrecher has announced the promotion of Kristin Williams to Senior Associate Commissioner for Institutional Services / Senior Woman Administrator, effective immediately.
“Kristin’s portfolio of duties and responsibilities has continued to grow and diversify throughout her tenure, befitting her talents,” said Steinbrecher. “From compliance, academic affairs, government relations, mental health, diversity-equity-inclusion-belonging, and sport oversight, Kristin is a respected member of our senior staff and a valued colleague. This promotion is in recognition of her significant contributions to the membership.”
Williams has been with the Conference since 2013 after serving as the NCAA Compliance Coordinator at Tulane University. Williams graduated from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in May of 2012 and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Santa Clara University in June of 2009. Williams was a four-year varsity crew team member at Santa Clara.
