Patrick Sanchez Hired As Beloit College Head Men's Soccer Coach

Beloit College is proud to announce the hiring of Patrick Sanchez as the Buccaneers' Head Men's Soccer Coach. Prior to being elevated to Head Coach, Sanchez joined the program as an interim assistant coach during the 2022 season, where he helped the team go 2-4-2 in conference play for a fourth-place finish in the Midwest Conference standings, which is the program's best showing in conference play in nearly a decade. 

"We are extremely pleased to have Patrick Sanchez lead our men's soccer program," Beloit College Athletics Director Dave DeGeorge said. "His coaching background and thorough understanding of a liberal arts education makes Patrick a great fit for Beloit."

Sanchez has coached at every youth level and in multiple states, most recently as Director of Coaching for the SC Wave satellite in Walworth, Wis. He's also on staff with the Wisconsin Olympic Development program as a head coach for the 2008 boys. He holds a US Soccer C coaching license. 

After playing Division-I soccer at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Ind., Sanchez served in the United States Air Force. Outside of coaching, Sanchez has worked as a systems engineer for a small consulting company that focuses on flight test, research and development, and avionics system integration for aircraft across all branches of of the military. He holds multiple certifications through the military and technical programs as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The School of the Arts Institute of Chicago. 

Patrick currently resides in Fontana, Wis. with his seven-year-old Rottweiler, Jada and two daughters. Penelope is a junior in high school and Annie is a freshman at Loyola University Chicago.
