BOSTON, Mass. – Vice Chancellor for Athletics and Recreation Dr. Jacqueline Schuman announced the promotion of Senior Associate Athletic Director Stephanie Dollar to the newly created position of Deputy Athletic Director for Internal Administration and Operations. Dollar will remain as the Athletics Department Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).

"Stephanie has shown unwavering loyalty to this department, especially since my arrival at UMass Boston. Additionally, Dollar will develop and lead the new Sports Administration Liaison Program, which will ensure adequate support for Head and Assistant Coaches, student-athletes, and sport programs and will assist and mentor athletic administrators in gaining experience in every aspect of sports administration and oversight.

She will work closely and collaborate with the Vice Chancellor for Human Resources and the Human Resources and labor relations team, partner and collaborate with the Provost's office, the Faculty Athletic Representative, the Assistant Chancellor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Special Assistant to the Chancellor for Black Life, and the office of Capital Planning and Administration.

"Thank you to Dr. Schuman for this opportunity. It is an honor to serve Beacon student-athletes and coaches on the field of competition, in the classroom, and in preparation for life after UMass Boston. It is professionally and personally exciting to contribute to the positive momentum Dr. Schuman's tenure has brought to Beaconville."

Dollar, a 2022 graduate of the NCAA Pathway Program, has served as the Senior Associate Athletic Director since her arrival at UMass Boston in 2018.
