MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan Athletic Director Deane Webb has named
Kinsey McVay as the Wildcat's Interim Head Women's Swim and Dive coach.
McVay has been a part of the Women's Swim and Dive program since 2019, swimming backstroke and freestyle for the Wildcats. In 2020, McVay earned NAIA All-American honors in the 200 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay, and the 400 Medley Relay. She was twice named to the Mid-South All Conference Academic Team and was named a member of the MSC Champions of Character Team during the 2021-22 season.
"I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to lead Indiana Wesleyan University Women's Swim and Dive," said Mcvay. "Thank you to Athletic Director Deanne Webb for the trust placed in me. As an IWU alumnus, I have a unique love for this team and especially the young women who represent this program. In just a few short years, Wildcat Swim and Dive has grown to the place where student-athletes can compete at a high level while receiving a great education and most importantly maturing in their relationship with Christ. The challenge now for TEAM 7 is to build upon that foundation."
