Kent State Announces Partnership Extension with FanWord

KENT-Kent State has announced a continuing of its partnership with FanWord and its storytelling product FanWord Stories for the 2023-24 athletics' year. 

All stories will continue be a part of the "Kent State of Mind "campaign — a content series dedicated to highlighting student-athletes that chose Kent State and the importance of the school's values.

"The Kent State of Mind series was a great success last year and offered a glimpse into the lives of our diverse student-athlete experience," Vice President and Director of Athletics Randale L. Richmond said. "The FanWord partnership has been seamless in allowing us to celebrate and promote our student athletes. The wide range of stories and perspectives further confirms my belief that Kent State is thriving in its mission to graduate student-athletes, boldly prepared for life after sports and win championships."

FanWord creates unique stories about Kent State student-athletes that will help them build their personal brand and a more personal relationship with fans, businesses, and other stakeholders. 

"Giving athletes the opportunity to tell their own stories is an incredibly important variable in today's college sports landscape," said FanWord CEO Christopher Aumueller. "We couldn't be more excited to continue our partnership with Kent State and share their student-athlete's amazing stories."

The first stories for this athletics' year will begin posting soon and can be found on KentStateSports.com/KentStateofMind as well as promoted across all Kent State social channels.
