Jahleel Harris Named Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance

Athletics Welcomes Jahleel Harris as New Strength & Conditioning Coach

ATLANTA, GA. – The Clark Atlanta University athletics department has announced the hiring of Jahleel Harris as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance on Tuesday, September 12. 

Harris comes to Clark Atlanta from Prairie View A&M University where he served as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Harris is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2018. After graduation, he completed a sport performance internship with the University of South Carolina Gamecocks during the 2019-2020 football season. After departing from South Carolina, he accepted and completed a graduate assistantship at Texas Southern University from 2021-2023. There he received his Master's degree in Health and Kinesiology. Remaining near the Houston area, he accepted the role as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Prairie View A&M University.
