Keiser Athletics Names HSS Florida its Official Health Care Provider

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (September 6, 2023) – Keiser Athletics announced on Wednesday that HSS Florida has been named the Official Hospital of Keiser Athletics. HSS Florida, located in West Palm Beach, provides state-of-the-art care from the world's leading academic medical center focused on musculoskeletal health.
 
Keiser Athletics' strong relationship with HSS started more than three years when James Carr II, MD, a sports medicine surgeon at HSS, began serving as team physician for the Keiser Athletic Department.  Dr. Carr is an Assistant Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at the Sports Medicine Institute at HSS and an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. In addition to the services of Dr. Carr, Keiser Student-Athletes also utilize the most advanced rehabilitation and performance center at HSS Florida.
 
"The Sports Medicine Institute at HSS has a long-standing history of caring for athletes at every level and treating all athletic injuries from diagnosis to recovery," said Dr. Carr. "HSS is committed and proud to provide the most comprehensive care to Keiser Athletics young athletes so they can excel at their highest performance levels."
 
As part of the partnership, HSS Florida will serve as the presenting sponsor of Keiser's Athletes of the Week and Athletes of the Month awards. Each HSS Player of the Month award winner will be interviewed on ESPN West Palm 106.3. HSS Florida will also have a presence on Seahawk marketing pieces and at Keiser home events.
 
"Student-Athlete health and safety is our primary focus, and over the past 3 years HSS has provided our Student-Athletes with top-notch care and service," stated Keiser Director of Athletics Kris Swogger.  "We are excited to expand our partnership with HSS and Dr. Carr which will provide an even stronger benefit and experience to our Student-Athletes."
