CHICAGO – DePaul will renew and expand its partnership with industry-leading ticketing provider LEARFIELD's Paciolan, to further enhance the fan experience and serve as the official ticketing, fundraising, and marketing automation provider for DePaul Athletics. As part of the expanded relationship with Paciolan, DePaul will introduce an integration with SeatGeek to serve as an Official Secondary Ticket Marketplace of DePaul Athletics.

"Since I arrived in Lincoln Park, DePaul Athletics has been steadfast in modernizing and expanding our ticketing infrastructure as it's critical to enhancing our self-generated revenues, engaging with our fans, and increasing attendance," said Vice President and Director of Athletics DeWayne Peevy, "Through Paciolan, we've found a true partner that shares our passion for innovation and is ready to scale up our operation alongside us. The addition of SeatGeek in the secondary space will be crucial as we look to add additional value to our season ticket holders."

Through this partnership expansion, DePaul unveiled today an updated virtual seating diagram to aid the ticket purchase and season ticket holder upgrade process. In addition, the Blue Demons will introduce a new, industry-leading email platform to engage with fans, and soon offer the ability to accept donations as part of the ticket checkout process. In partnership with Paciolan, DePaul will further expand account management features and the digital ticketing experience prior to the men's and women's basketball season tipping off this fall at Wintrust Arena.

"Since 2013, DePaul University has been our valued partner, and we take immense pride in this enduring collaboration. Today, with our partnership extension, we look to foster further growth within their business and strengthen their connections with fans, alumni, and donors", said Kim Damron, President of Paciolan, and LEARFIELD President of Digital and Technology

Notably, the addition of SeatGeek as an Official Secondary Ticket Marketplace of DePaul Athletics will provide fans to have an easy way to manage and sell their tickets through SeatGeek's highly-rated mobile experience integrated with Paciolan's digital ticketing features. Fans can use SeatGeeks digital tools to price, list, and sell unused tickets. These tools allow Blue Demon fans to recoup their investment by reselling tickets to events or games they are unable to attend.

This partnership expansion is the latest in a series of investments DePaul Athletics is making in ticketing and the Blue Demon fan experience. In Feb. 2021, DePaul partnered with Salesforce and Paciolan to launch the athletics department's first-ever customer relationship management (CRM) platform. In Jul. 2021, the Blue Demons transitioned fully to digital ticketing to enhance the efficiency of venue entry and provide several digital ticket management features to both season ticket holders and fans. In Sept. 2021, DePaul completed a comprehensive audit and redesign of its ticket pricing structure, packages, and season ticket benefits to better align with fan expectations. Most recently, DePaul upgraded its ticket scanning technology at Wintrust Arena to enhance entry efficiency and prepare for future technological enhancements slated for this fall.

Paciolan has been the official ticketing partner of the Blue Demons since 2013.
