WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University Director of Athletics Scott Musa has announced title changes for three Wilkes Athletics staff members who will serve as assistant athletic directors.

John McNichol: Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance/Head Women's Soccer Coach
McNichol is entering his sixth season as the head coach of the Wilkes women's soccer program. He began serving as the Senior Compliance Officer for Wilkes Athletics at the start of the 2022-23 season.

Jackie Klahold: Assistant Athletic Director for Game Operations/SWA/Head Softball Coach
Klahold enters her fifth season as the Colonels head softball coach. She has served as the Senior Woman Administrator for Wilkes Athletics for the past 18 months as well as supervising the athletic department interns.

Vince Scalzo: Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations/Sports Information Director
Scalzo is starting his 13th year as the Sports Information Director at Wilkes where he is responsible for handling publicity for 23 varsity sports. He handles the athletic and officiating scheduling.

"Please join me in congratulating John, Jackie, and Vince on their promotions to assistant athletic directors," Musa said. "These titles more accurately reflect the responsibilities they already have, and I appreciate the administration allowing me to give each of them the Assistant AD title."
