INSTITUTE, W.Va. – West Virginia State University Athletics announced an agreement with HomeTown Ticketing on Friday afternoon that designates the digital ticketing provider as the official ticketing partner of WVSU Athletics. Hometown Ticketing will provide custom online ticketing solutions for WVSU Athletics to meet the needs of West Virginia State's growing fanbase for the upcoming academic year and beyond. 

"We are excited to partner with HomeTown Ticketing to streamline our ticketing process," said Athletic Director Nate Burton. "This will help provide Yellow Jacket supporters and guests with a more efficient process for gate entry."

In the first year of the agreement with HomeTown Ticketing, online ticketing will be available for all home football, volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball events. Single game football tickets will be sold online for $16 excluding the homecoming game. Homecoming game tickets will cost $21. Volleyball tickets will sell online for $8 per game. Single game basketball tickets will cost $13 and include admission to both women's and men's games.

In addition to single game tickets, all-sport passes and sport-specific season tickets will be offered through the HomeTown Ticketing platform. Pricing for all-sport passes, which includes admission to all ticketed home events, and season tickets will be determined at a later date.

Fans will be able to access their purchased tickets through the HomeTown Ticketing app. The app is available on both iOS and Android devices. Fans will also have the option to print a paper ticket sent to their email and present it at the gate prior to entry.     

As a courtesy to our fans, cash payments will still be accepted at the gate for admission to home events this upcoming year to ease the transition. Complimentary tickets for athletes and special guests as well as staff and student tickets will now be distributed online to optimize the gate-entry process.
