Harvard Athletics to Introduce NIL-Leader INFLCR in 2023-24

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard Athletics is set to introduce INFLCR in the Fall of 2023, tabbing the name, image and likeness (NIL) leader to assist in the strengthening of student-athlete branding.

"We are excited to launch INFLCR for our student-athletes," said Erin McDermott, The John D. Nichols '53 Family Director of Athletics. "This platform will provide easy access to explore how they might want to engage in NIL opportunities and gives them a terrific resource to help them. Especially for those who were unsure of how to get started or what might be possible, INFLCR should help bring more clarity and creativity to them."

INFLCR, a Teamworks company, is the leading NIL platform for elite sports organizations, having worked with more than 90,000 student-athletes and 270 collegiate and professional teams.

The introduction of INFLCR at Harvard has endless opportunities for its student-athletes as the University resides in the ninth-largest media market and the 10th-largest metropolitan area in the country.

The INFLCR athlete app educates student-athletes, coaches, and staff in a safe and compliant environment, while allowing student-athletes from all 42 of Harvard's varsity programs to easily receive photo and video content that they can share to their own personal social media channels. In addition to the content sharing, INFLCR also helps track NIL transactions for student-athletes, streamlining reporting for their institution and personal tax returns.
