LIBERTY, Mo. – William Jewell College has announced the hiring of Chris Loftin as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and Student Services, beginning July 17.
 
Loftin joins the Cardinals from Highland Community College where he served as the Athletic Compliance Director for the last three years. While with the Scotties, he also worked with Sports Information and Game Operations.
 
He played collegiate lacrosse and ice hockey at Hampden-Sydney College and Virginia Commonwealth University where he was a National Collegiate Lacrosse League (NCLL) All-American three times and selected as the captain of the NCLL All-Star game in 1995. Additionally, he was the Most Improved Player for the VCU ice hockey program, member of the Intercollegiate Sports Council and a 1996 finalist for the President's Award.
 
Loftin holds a bachelor's degree from the Virginia Commonwealth and a master's from the University of Kansas, both in sport management and is also a certified Red Cross instructor.
