CLEVELAND – The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) has selected Jay Poerner, commissioner of the Lone Star Conference (LSC), to serve as President for the 2023-24 membership year.
 
"It is an honor and privilege to be named President of the D2 Conference Commissioners Association," Poerner said. "I am excited to work with my exceptional colleagues from around the country to address the many important issues facing our memberships right now. Our Association stands committed to supporting our student-athletes and providing them with the best opportunity to succeed as the landscape of intercollegiate athletics continues to evolve."

Poerner takes the reins from Matt Wilson, commissioner of the Gulf South Conference (GSC), who will transition to Immediate Past President. Serving as Officers will be:

• 1^st Vice President, David Haglund, commissioner of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC); and
• 2^nd Vice President, Reid Amos, commissioner of the Mountain East Conference (MEC)

The D2 CCA would also like to welcome two new individuals that will be taking over the leadership in the following conferences:

• California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) – Allen Hardison
• Pacific West Conference (PacWest) - Jessica Harbison Weaver

In addition to the 2023-24 Officers, the following conference commissioners make up the Association membership:
